Prepare your file at the final size of your chosen card. Extend any images or background colors that reach the edge into the bleed area.
- File format: print-ready PDF
- Resolution: 300 dpi
- Bleed: 3 mm on every edge
- Safety margin: at least 3 mm from the trim line
- Color mode: CMYK recommended; RGB files also accepted
- Double-sided cards: both sides in the same PDF file

Which card size suits most purposes?
A6 (105 × 148 mm) is the most versatile card size. It works well for invitations, greetings, thank-you notes, marketing and postcard-style designs.
Can a card be printed on both sides?
Yes. Cards can be printed single- or double-sided. For double-sided cards, the front and back are supplied as separate pages in the same PDF file.
Can I write on the card by hand?
Yes. A matte or uncoated cardstock works best for handwriting. A ballpoint pen usually gives the most reliable result.
Can I order several different card designs?
Yes. Several different image or text versions can be printed within the same order. Name your files clearly and specify the quantity for each version.
Can cards be made in both portrait and landscape orientation?
Yes. Every rectangular card size can be designed in either portrait or landscape orientation. The final size stays the same, only the layout direction changes.
How quickly are cards ready?
The fastest production time is one business day with a print-ready file. The available completion times are shown on the product's order page.
Can I order just a small quantity of cards?
Yes. Digital printing also makes small print runs possible, so you don't need to order more cards than you actually need.
