Poster paper and applications
Posters are produced using high-quality large-format printing. The material should be selected according to whether the poster will be placed in a frame, poster stand, notice board or directly on a wall.

A lightweight yet firm general-purpose material for indoor use. Suitable for frames, poster stands, notice boards and wall-mounted posters. - Smooth print surface

Paper posters are best suited to dry indoor environments. For outdoor use or damp locations, choose a weather-resistant large-format material. - Other materials

Artwork and technical specifications

- Bleed 3 mm on every side
- Image resolution 150–200 ppi at final size is sufficient for most large-format posters
- Safe area Keep important text and logos at least 10 mm inside the cutting line
- Colour mode CMYK is recommended, but RGB artwork is also accepted

Frequently asked questions about posters
What is the most popular poster size?
B2, or 500 × 700 mm, is a versatile and popular size for shops, events and campaigns. It also fits standard 50 × 70 cm poster frames.
What is the difference between A1 and B2 posters?
B2 measures 500 × 700 mm, while A1 measures 594 × 841 mm. A1 is larger and more visible from a distance, while B2 is easier to place in a standard 50 × 70 cm frame.
Can I order a poster in a custom size?
Yes. Choose the custom-size poster when you need dimensions outside the standard A and B series. Provide the required width and height with your order.
Is poster paper suitable for outdoor use?
Standard poster paper is intended primarily for indoor use. For outdoor or damp environments, choose a weather-resistant large-format material.
What resolution should poster artwork have?
For most large-format posters, 150–200 ppi at final size is sufficient. Smaller posters viewed from close range and detailed artwork benefit from a higher resolution.
How are posters delivered?
Posters can be collected from aDigi’s print shop in Hakaniemi, Helsinki. We also offer courier delivery in the Helsinki region and Posti Express delivery throughout Finland.
