Before downloading
- Check the design dimensions against the product you are ordering.
- Extend edge-to-edge backgrounds into the bleed area.
- Choose Share → Download → PDF Print.
- Include crop marks and bleed for edge-to-edge artwork. Check the product-specific bleed requirement.
- Leave Flatten PDF switched off, then download and inspect the PDF.
Start with the finished size
Create the design at the trimmed size of your product. Changing the size at the end can move text, images and borders.
Extend backgrounds into the bleed
Bleed is the extra image area outside the trim line. Turning on the export setting does not extend your design for you: drag backgrounds and images beyond the finished edge in the design itself. Follow the product-specific artwork dimensions.
Keep text and graphics sharp
Use PDF Print and leave Flatten PDF switched off. This allows text and vector graphics to remain sharp. A screenshot or JPEG turns the whole design into pixels.
RGB or CMYK?
Both can be supplied to aDigi. If your Canva version only offers RGB, send the high-quality RGB PDF. There is no need to convert it yourself using an unfamiliar colour profile.
Open the downloaded PDF
Check the dimensions, page order, text, images and bleed in the exported file. For a double-sided card, put the front on page one and the back on page two.

Which file type should I choose?
Choose PDF Print. It preserves text and vector graphics better than a screenshot, JPG or PNG.
Should I include crop marks and bleed?
Include bleed when the print reaches the trimmed edge. Check the product-specific instructions for the required dimensions before exporting.
Should I flatten the PDF?
