A5 multi-page programme booklet – event booklet with 8–32 pages

The multi-page A5 programme booklet is a saddle-stitched booklet with 8–32 pages – an elegant and easy-to-read solution when your event has more content than fits in a 4-page programme leaflet.

The booklet format provides plenty of space for content: programme items, performer profiles, composer backgrounds, scene lists, libretto excerpts, sponsors and partner advertisements. The page count is always a multiple of four (8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 or 32 pages) – just right for your event's content.

The multi-page programme booklet works particularly well for concerts, operas, ballet, theatre performances, festivals, galas, seminars, religious services and association events – any occasion where attendees benefit from a comprehensive guide throughout the event. Consistent print quality and premium paper communicate the organiser's attention to detail and add gravitas to your event.

Order easily from our online store – printed locally in Helsinki using plant-based eco-friendly inks on FSC/PEFC-certified paper. Fast delivery throughout Finland, with 24-hour delivery available for urgent orders with print-ready files.

Who is the multi-page programme booklet for?

The multi-page A5 programme booklet is the right choice when you have more content than fits in a 4-page programme leaflet – for example programme items, composer notes, performer profiles, sponsors and advertisements bound together between the covers.

  • Concerts and orchestras – works, composers, soloist profiles
  • Theatre and musicals – cast list, production team, scene structure
  • Opera and ballet – libretto, soloists, plot synopsis
  • Festivals and galas – schedules, performers, maps, sponsors
  • Art events and exhibitions – artwork profiles, artist information, curator texts
  • Major sports tournaments – team rosters, match programme, sponsor pages
  • School and association celebrations – speakers, programme, greetings
  • Religious services and church events – order of service, hymn numbers, scripture references
  • Seminars and conferences – sessions, speaker profiles, sponsors
Typical page counts: concert 8–12 p. · theatre performance 16–20 p. · opera 24–32 p. · festival 20–32 p. · seminar 12–24 p.
Would 4 pages be enough? For shorter programmes, the 4-page A5 programme booklet may be a more suitable and more affordable option.

Print-ready artwork

Submit your artwork as a print-ready PDF. For the multi-page programme booklet, pages should be submitted as individual pages in correct reading order – not as spreads. Our production team imposes the pages onto the print sheet automatically.

Submission options:

Option 1 One multi-page PDF with pages in order from 1 to the end (recommended)

Option 2 Separate PDF files clearly numbered (e.g. page_01.pdf, page_02.pdf …)

  • Page size: A5 (148 × 210 mm)
  • Page count: multiple of four (8, 12, 16, 20 …)
  • Bleed: 3 mm on each side (154 × 216 mm)
  • Safe area: 5 mm from the trim line inward (due to booklet structure)
  • Resolution: 300 dpi
  • Colour space: CMYK recommended (RGB also accepted)
Tip: include crop marks in your PDF so you can verify the bleed area yourself. We review every print file personally before printing.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can I receive my programmes?

Standard delivery time is 2–4 working days. For urgent orders, 24-hour or even same-day delivery is possible depending on artwork readiness.

How many pages can the programme have?

The page count must always be a multiple of four: 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 or 32 pages. This is because the pages fold onto both sides of each sheet. If you need more than 32 pages, please contact us – we can tailor the order to your needs.

Can I mix and match cover and inside-page papers?

Yes. The cover is typically heavier paper (170 g / 160 g) and the inside pages are lighter (100–130 g). You can combine them to match your event's look – a sturdy cover protects the inside pages throughout the event.

Can the programme booklet include sponsor advertisements?

Yes. A multi-page programme booklet is an excellent place for sponsor logos and advertisement pages – you can collect both the programme and your partners in one booklet. Sponsor pages can be placed on the back cover, inside pages or as their own spreads.

What is the minimum and maximum print run?

Our digital press also works well for small runs – typical print runs are 50–500 copies depending on the size of your event. For larger runs, please contact us.

Is the printing environmentally friendly?

Yes. We print programme booklets using plant-based eco-friendly inks – these modern toners are made from renewable raw materials instead of mineral oil. In addition, all the papers we use are FSC or PEFC certified, meaning they are made from responsibly managed forests. We also offer 100% recycled paper for both the cover and inside pages.

Is recycled paper an option?

Yes. 100% recycled paper is available for both the cover (160 g matte) and the inside pages (120 g matte). You can choose a programme booklet made entirely from recycled paper, where the natural off-white tone gives a warm, distinctive feel.
